GREAT SELECTION SILVER MANCHEGO CHEESE HANDMADE SEMI-CURado

The manchego cheese handmade semicurado Carpuela, handmade by Gómez Moreno Family SL, has been awarded with the Great Selection Silver 2016 prize in the Great Selection competition organized by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha.

This new award confirms the excellent work done by Gómez Moreno Family in a sustained way over time, betting on an handmade cheese of the highest quality made with milk from their own livestock, a livestock that today is at the forefront of the Herencia cattle farmers.

FIRST AWARD TO MANCHEGO CHEESE HANDMADE SEMI-CURado

Gómez Moreno Family has obtained in the XXV regional competition of Expovicaman Manchego cheese 2015, held on Sunday 10 May, the first award in Semi-curado handmade cheese. This competition, held in the framework of the Agricultural and Livestock Fair of Castilla la Mancha, EXPOVICAMAN.

For Gómez Moreno Family, this award has a special emotional value since it was in this same contest, in its second edition in 91, where it received its first recognition in a cheese contest. Now, and after 23 years without participating in this event specialized in manchego cheese, Gómez Moreno Family has again been recognized as one of the handmade cheeses reference of manchego cheese.
