One more year, Quesos Gómez Moreno receives recognition at the International Cheese Awards.

On this occasion, in one of the most prestigious cheese competitions in the world, the company has been awarded the silver medal for its pasteurized cured Manchego cheese Don Gregorio, which adds to the gold medal obtained in 2016 for the Carpuela Cured Manchego Cheese.

This award certifies the cured Manchego cheese Don Gregorio as the silver medal winner in the category of Best Cheese from Spain.

This Manchego cheese with at least 6 months of maturation is part of the range of cheeses offered by Quesos Gómez Moreno with different brands such as Carpuela, Gómez Moreno, or the aforementioned Don Gregorio, ranging from soft cheeses, semi-cured, cured, reserva, in oil, with rosemary, in lard, or with truffle.

Don Gregorio Cured is a Manchego cheese that was originally made for export, but is now also available in our cheese shop in the Herencia Industrial Estate (Ciudad Real).

International Cheese Awards 2019 thus awards a cured Manchego cheese that is characterized by its yellowish-white color, well-distributed eyes, intense aroma, and intense flavor, excellent bouquet in the aftertaste, leaving a lasting memory on the palate.
