Our handmade cheese curadp in olive oil Carea is made with raw sheep’s milk from our own livestock whose maturation lasts between nine and fourteen months.
When we talk about Carea, we talk about tradition, our family, our customs, valuing the artisanal process of our raw milk processing. Heritage is for our Carea cheeses, the origin, the land that has seen them grow.
The synergy of the cheese and the quality of the olive oil used achieve a unique product with a special, unmistakable and resounding flavor. The interior shows a white-ivory paste with slight reddish tones that reveals the time spent in olive oil, giving this cheese a unique personality.
All formats are vacuum packed with olive oil inside.

CAREA CHEESE AWARDS IN AOVE
This curado cheese was previously marketed under the Gómez Moreno Family, and was renamed Carea in 2022. Its elaboration, quality and flavor remain intact.

RECIPES AND combinations handmade CHEESE AGED IN AOVE CAREA
Traditionally, manchego cheese has been accompanied with red wines, if you like this combination, we advise you to try it with a young red.
For a marrying with wine we recommend a young rosé wine with a fruity aroma, with acidic touches that will leave us more persistent in the mouth than white wines.
On the other hand if you are more than pairing it with beer, a good companion for our cheese in Carea oil will be a lager beer, with a marked flavour.
We must bear in mind that beer contains a lower degree of acidity than wine, which will allow us to appreciate much more the flavour of cheese.
